Fueling Station

The City?s CNG, or clean natural gas, island is open for sales to the public. In the last year, sales have increased from $3,000 to over $30,000 a month in retail sales. In an effort to help reduce the carbon foot-print left by diesel engines, the City is proactively converting its heavy duty fleet to clean burning, naturally powered by gas units. The projected amount of LNG, or liquid nitrogen gas, the City will purchase in the 2010-2011 fiscal year is 627,086 gallons-almost double the combined about of gasoline and diesel project of 397,010 gallons.
