According to a study backed by CSU, Fullerton, $482,386,000 were spent on ozone related incidents-respiratory hospital admissions, asthma attacks on asthmatic population, emergency room visits, days of school absences, mortality and minor restricted activity days-within the South Coast Air Basin-Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. In San Bernardino county alone, $105,100,000, or 22% of the total above, were spent on ozone related incidents.
