The City of San Bernardino is in the process of creating a Sustainability Master Plan (SMP). A SMP is comprised of measures that, when implemented, will enable the City to reduce its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from City operations and the community. Over the next few months, there will be opportunities for residents to participate in the planning process, provide support to the City’s efforts addressing climate change and improve sustainability. Please visit “Upcoming Events” for announcements.
This project is being funded through the City?s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant (EECBG). The SMP will build on the City’s Energy Efficiency Conservation Strategy, which details energy efficiency projects selected by the City, associated costs and projected energy savings.
